Easter Sunday Escapade
This is a late post but just allow me...
Easter Sunday, we planned to go to beach (but not the beach in Mactan) . I suggested to go to Island in the Sky so everyone agreed right there and then. We brought barbeque, poso (hanging rice) and softdrinks for lunch. Island in the Sky was just 45 minutes drove at it's 50 km from the City. Entrance fee of 50 pesos, children 25 pesos and cottage rent for 250 not bad at all. Here are some of our pics taken during our visit there. Panalo!
Yeeey I crossed it!

Asus EeePC 1000HE
Here’s a quick rundown of its specs:
- Intel Atom N280 (1.66GHz)
- 1GB RAM (upgradeable to 2GB)
- 160GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
- Intel GMA 950
- 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0
- Windows XP
- 1.3mp webcam
The keyboard has improved its design that looks like Mac. They called it chicklet style keyboard, we can see the keyboard when typing in the dark. Galing d ba?
What's really makes this netbook so damn nice is that it uses a 6-cell 8700mAH Li-on battery that they claim can last up to 9.5 hours. Wow this is really truely amazing!!!!
I'm contempleting if I'm going to sell my MSI just for this 1000HE.

LIVE A LIFE THAT MATTERS
Whether you are ready or not, someday your life will come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours, or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will pass to someone else.
Your wealth, fame, and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. Your grudges, resentments, frustration, and jealousies will finally disappear. So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to-do lists will expire. The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. It won't matter where you came from, or on what side of the tracks you lived at the end.
It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant, even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant. So what will matter? How will the value of you days be measured? What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got, but what you gave.
What will matter is not your success, but your significance. What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught. What will matter is every act you integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice. That enriched, empowered, or encouraged others to emulate your example. What will matter is not your competence, but you character. What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone.
What will matter is not your memories, but the memories that live in those who love you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom, and for what. Living a life that matter doesn't happen by accident. It's not a matter of circumstances, but of choice. Choose to live a life that matters.......
